Format
The Mike Weir Charity Classic consists of a field of 20 teams, with 5 golfers per team. Each team will be made up of the following:
- 1 PGA Tour player
- 1 Celebrity
- 4 Amateurs
Each team will begin their round with a PGA Tour professional or celebrity. After 9 holes, hosts will change groups so that each of the 20 groups play 9 holes with a pro and 9 holes with a celebrity. Teams will be playing a best-ball format.

Plan Ahead
The following tips will help ensure a comfortable and enjoyable Mike Weir Charity Classic experience:
- Check on the Mike Weir Charity Classic homepage for up-to-date tournament news, including parking information
- Wear a hat for protection from the sun and use sun block
- Bring a rain jacket or poncho
- Bring an umbrella if inclement weather is in the forecast
- Wear rubber-soled shoes, lightweight and light coloured clothing
- Wear sunglasses
- Cameras and autographs are permitted
- Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration
- Remember where you car is parked
- Leave your cell phone or blackberry in your car or at home. These items are not permitted inside the gates.
Policies
Alcoholic Beverage Policy
Beer and wine are available at most concession stands on the course. Alcoholic beverages served inside the Clubhouse, Skyboxes, Champions Club, or Marquee Suite areas are not permitted outside these areas. Under the Liquor License Act, it is strictly prohibited to enter the Clubhouse, Skybox, Champions Club or Marquee Suites with an alcoholic beverage purchased elsewhere. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on any public bleacher seating.Autograph Policy
Autographs may be requested and given at the players' convenience during this event. Spectators should use their best judgement to approach players at appropriate times, and not immediately preceding, during or immediately following golf shots. Between holes would be the optimal opportunity. Camera Policy
Cameras are allowed on-site at the course during the Mike Weir Charity Classic, for personal use only and without their cases. Camcorders are prohibited on site all week.Cellular Phones, Blackberry's & Electronic Devices
Cellular Phones are prohibited on site all week. Any cell phone or other electronic device found on the course will be confiscated by security and will be returned only when you are leaving the grounds. Pagers are permitted on vibrate mode only.Prohibited Items
Please take note of the following items that spectators will be prohibited from bringing with them to St. George's G&CC:- NO CELL PHONES
- PAGERS must be on vibrate mode
- NO VIDEO CAMERAS
- NO BAG (larger than a small purse or fanny pack)
- NO BACKPACKS, PACKAGES OR CHAIRBAGS
- NO RADIOS OR TELEVISIONS
- NO SIGNS, BANNER FLAGS, etc
- NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE may enter or leave the golf course
- NO COOLERS
- NO BICYCLES
- NO NOISE MAKING DEVICES
- NO PETS
- NO STEPLADDERS OR STEPSTOOLS
All carryon bags, purses, fanny packs, etc. will be subject to inspection. Any spectator bringing a restricted item onto the grounds will have two options; return the item to their vehicle or check the items into the onsite check stand.
Re-Entry Policy
Those spectators wishing to leave the grounds and re-enter must have their hand stamped by the Security personnel working the gate. Each daily ticket will be punched by Security as you enter the grounds. Daily Grounds, Champions Club, Skybox, Marquee Suite and Clubhouse Suite tickets/badges are not transferable under any circumstances.Spectator Etiquette
While at the Mike Weir Charity Classic, we ask that you adhere to the following:- Look for and obey Marshal signals at all times
- Walk at all times - never run
- Be quiet and still as golfers play their shots
- Do not leave the green areas until all players in the group have putted out
- Do not approach or talk to players on the course
- Cross fairways only at the designated crosswalk and stay behind the ropes
- (unless permitted to enter)
- Place garbage in the receptacles provided
- Be considerate of your fellow spectators and Volunteers as you would like them to be of you
- Please be considerate of others and kneel or sit if you are in the front row of the gallery
Will Call
Will Call location is TBD. There is no parking at will call. Photo I.D. will be required to pick up any tickets left at Will Call. Will Call will be open from 7:00am to 4:00pm.Weather
The PGA Tour will have meteorology staff on-site monitoring the possibility of inclement weather. If a storm is approaching, special "weather warning" signs will be posted on electronic leaderboards around the course. When the sign appears, spectators are advised to take immediate precautions prior to any suspension of play. Grandstands will be cleared when weather warning signs are posted. When the siren sounds, play is suspended, close your umbrella, seek shelter immediately and avoid the following:- Open areas
- Hilltops / high places
- Isolated trees
- Golf Carts
- Wire fencing
- Skyboxes / Grandstands
